MEET OUR OWNER DENEAN LEEPER
With 26 years of experience as a Leader and Registered Nurse in the healthcare industry, I am no stranger to details, organization and structure. So it is no wonder that the Event and Wedding Industry is a great fit for my skills and talents. Design on the other hand is a discovered passion and oh do I love it!!
I am blessed beyond measure to be able to spend my day fulfilling my dream, passion and God destined purpose; planning and designing special events and residential spaces for others. It is an honor to plan, coordinate and design for my clients. I am most humbled and grateful for every chance I get to assist in creating a special memory and/or treasured space.
As the mastermind behind the company for more than 15 years, I am passionate about every client. I take a very practical and personal approach to each of our projects. Using my skilled and talented team, I ensure that every project exceeds expectations while providing an enjoyable & satisfying customer experience. Each event and design is executed with intention and careful attention to details.
I am the proud mom of three & the gum-gum of five. I treasure time spent with my family talking, laughing and making memories.

Hey Everyone, I am a Day of Coordinator with Deneans Events and Designs.

With over fifteen years of experience in administration and organizational development, I am attentive to order, detail, and execution. Oddly enough, I also enjoy operating tools! Yes, power drills, saws, hammers, etc. I can organize and run your event or come by and hang your pictures, TV or lay your flooring. Weird right? But I enjoy every minute of it.
I’m a proud mother of two young-adults and my passion is simply helping others!

As a personal social event planner for my family, I’ve always enjoyed bringing those I love together, to celebrate special occasions. I am honored to have been given the opportunity to spread my wings under the direction of Denean. A few of my greatest attributes are organizational skills, attention to detail, and my willingness to serve.
I’m truly blessed to be a proud mother of 4 beautiful girls, and wife to my wonderful husband, Howard. Our family is a circle of strength in love, founded on faith, joined in love, and kept by God.

I picked up the bug for event planning in college while organizing and planning events for the student organizations I was involved with. Over time, I planned and coordinated weddings and events of friends and family members and I am extremely passionate about making someone’s special event the very best. I am meticulously organized and I have a keen eye for details.
I am a native of California, but now call Maryland home. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Public Affairs degree from the Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. I also completed wedding and event planning coursework at San Francisco State University, including a Foundations of Sustainable Event Planning course by the Green Meeting Industry Council.
I enjoy cooking, quilting, yoga, massages, and traveling and exploring more of the East Coast in my free time.

Hi There! I am a Coordinator and I have a passion for event planning and providing a high level of service.

I absolutely love the experience of helping couples create memorable moments. I have been planning weddings and events for close family and friends for over 10 years. It’s very important to me that my clients have a beautiful and organized wedding or event. I care about the details and the bigger picture as it all folds together to make one magical day, one that my clients will remember forever.
I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy entertaining, cooking, singing karaoke and crafting (all levels). I’ve done everything from custom wine glasses, staining my kitchen cabinets, installing backsplash and hardware to staining my deck. I consider myself handy and focused on the details.
I‘m elated to be a part of Denean’s Events and Designs and I can’t wait to create new memorable moments for you!

I’m a recent college graduate from McDaniel College with a Bachelor’s in Communication. Between my communication studies, and years of experience in customer service, I’m well versed in reading the energy of a room and being able to adjust myself and the atmosphere around me to maintain an enjoyable experience for everyone!
A little bit about me personally, I’m incredibly close to my family. We’re big believers in laughter being the best medicine, so you won’t ever find me not laughing or trying to make others laugh!

It is my goal to help make our client’s dream a reality! With a background in activities coordinating, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each wedding. My experience allows me to bring added value to your coordination team which will help make your special day one to remember! I am full of energy and take pride in being extremely organized and detail oriented. My experience in activities and event planning has taught me the importance of patience and teamwork. I recognize that it is vital to be able to work well with others to achieve our goal of making each wedding truly unique. I enjoy taking on projects, working with others to bring a vision to life, and making someone’s dreams come to fruition.
When I am not working I am a proud wife and mother of 4 who loves to spend time with my
family as well as enjoy the outdoors and cook my favorite meals!

I am no stranger to the wedding and event industry having spent years as a meeting planner in Washington, D.C. to planning weddings and events in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. I earned my B.A. in Sociology from UMBC and my M.A. in Human Sciences from Hood College. My experience in planning professional meetings, events, and weddings extends from associations in the Washington, D.C. area to country clubs in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. My skills in contract negotiations, vendor rapport, attention to detail, creativity, and organization have led to desired results and client satisfaction. Through my education and experience, I have advanced my knowledge in cultural competency, leadership and development, as well as, understanding the importance of current industry trends. I feel fortunate that I am able to combine my passion for helping others and my creative expression to develop a memorable and special event.
On my leisure time, you can find me at home working on interior decorating projects and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time on the beach.
